DO INDIAN SCRIPTURES ...RECOMEND VARNAS ON THE BASIS OF BIRTH

Description on four varnas, definition of varnas based on the profession which has nothing to do with the birth or family background.
Anyone can opt for any varna.
Hence the varna word given in dharmasastra should never be mistaken with modern caste. Varnas are only four and castes are more than 6000 according to the latest senses in India.) now we shall go through the harma sastra descriptions !

* Detailed description on four varnas which are the stratification of the society depending exclusively on the profession of each individual.

* First the laws and duties connected with Brahmanas are described followed by those connected with Kshatriyas, Vaisyas and Sudras based on their profession.

* The definition of Brahmana is given as those who have learned Vedas thoroughly and their role in the society is to unite the society through spiritual and social rituals and customs.
* Performing all the religious Vedic and non Vedic rituals for all the members of the society from ordinary Brahmanas to Sudras is the duty of Brahmin . from birth to death all the 16 sacraments are to be guided for the society by the Brahmins .

* The duties of Kshatriyas are defined as learning, teaching the science archery and doing everything for the protecting the nation .

* The duties of Vaisyas are farming, agriculture and rearing the cattle and all the connected and related business work.

* The duties of Sudras according to dharma Saastra are doing the work for the society such as carpentry, masonry and metal work with general support for the society . ( Nowhere it is mentioned paada seva of Brahmin or slavery of Brahmins or others).

* ACCORDONG TO THESE SCRIPTURES....NOBODY IS SUPERIOR or INFERIOR..ALL ARE EQUALS.
* VARNAS ARE CREATED ONLY ON THE BASIS OF PROFESSION (like modern days doctors, advocates, enginers),NOT ON THE MERITS OF FAMILY or BIRTH
